Taxi driver

During 13 years was my job, but 2 years I choose a big decision to leave my best job.

I think too much and I was afraid of the big changes of 2020, I wasn’t crazy, now I see…

Society change, the conversation, the feelings of the people in a city that was on the top in tourism.

I don’t like drive in the city, but as taxi driver my motivation was more social, meet people from everywhere, talk with lot of kind of persons.

I really feel more happy in a funny day talking with interesting people than the money I can earn.
This thinking is not very usual as taxi driver.

I liked to observe the city from the window, you can learn lot of things if you like observation. Listen to the people and have answers, opinions from the people help to do a radiography of the society.

Since 2009 the economy changed the people, but even people survive, really never come back to the same level before.

More political conversation, from internal problems of taxi and also National problems, start to make more empty conversation.

I started to be tired, the future isn’t clear. The city prepared changes to take the cars out from the city, but just doing narrow streets. Now Barcelona is a really worst city with lot of traffic jams, still too many cars and lot of work to do it.

Always I need the nature to survive, and with the taxi sometimes wasn’t easy, but I enjoy every minute…

Now I’m happy out of the big Barcelona, but I miss the good conversation, I hope one day I will find again a quiet track to walk…

A view to the past

Short week with 4 days of work, is strange but nice.

Tuesday was posible go out of my village. We went to visit the industrial past of the Ter river. Water was necessary to move the factories.
They made a village where the workers and the family. All the services are in the colony.

Curve by curve the river have industrial activity in the past. Industrial channels to move the machines, small electric factories.

I like imagine how did people live in this industrial village.

After the look down of the cities, maybe lot of people want to leave it.

It’s a good opportunity to have a better of distribution of the population.

Until now people live in the city for the services. Now without shop, online shopping is getting more popular, without pubs, restaurants, theaters, cinemas… The parks closed, beach where is forbidden take a bath.

I’m living in a village 10 years ago. I leave the metropolitan are of Barcelona 12 years ago. 1 year without working in the city, only my parents are the connection with the city, for the rest I don’t need.

I love the mountain, my quality of life is walk, run in the forest.

**My father lived in this house in Extremadura. Always talks with nostalgic of the birds there.**

**The grandfather of my father plant this trees 70 years ago. Eucalyptus was very popular in Spain, even isn’t the best tree.**

My parents came to the city looking for a better life, now I think world is going to change. The only thing that you need is a good connection to internet. The services will come back with the people. Spain needs to conserve nice village, but they need people. The new countryside where isn’t necessary work the earth like a profesional.

The forest is increasing every year. The fields in the mountain are now forest, you can see walls in the middle of the forest to show how was the past.
