I feel good

August is warm, isn’t one of my favorites months, I lost my job but even I feel well.

I worked hard after months thinking about how to come back to work. After see the life empty without future, now I learn that the future isn’t posible without me.

I had good sensation in the job. I worked hard, for me is the most important. The rest of things of this crazy society isn’t my problem.

The world is changing so fast that better look day by day.
We will see lot of changes, specially the jobs will be very different than now. The virus is just a excuse to accelerate the change that should come. Lot of us we can be prepared to this change. The brain is blocked, we work with too much pressure the health is bad. Fear, insecurity, we are in danger.

Waves make impossible to continue…

This global world can bring virtual support from any part of the world. Know people from all the world and learn that the problems are quite similar.
Persons that make you happy even you only talk by chat, send some pictures an maybe some videoconference.
Maybe people that in another place you never know.

Jump together in this strange world

Future never was clear, but now is even more difficult to invest in something good for the next year. The most safe is just your health, necessary to do everything.

Always thing to discover new things and places. The routine couldn’t be your life. I try to have new things to discover.

Warm nights

Nights that we call Tropical when the temperature at night is above 20°.

The Mediterranean is normal this temperature when the water is warm like now that is warmer than usual. But other problems are the cities that every year warmer. Lot of air conditioning at home, locals and vehicles, but all this warm goes outside with too much asphalt and high buildings. The temperature isn’t posible to down in short nights, because the asphalt and the buildings keep the warm of a sunny day.

The climate is getting warmer, and the cities more, it mean that warm nights now are also inland in big cities as Madrid. In the coast is more humid, but in the center of Peninsula during the day could be very warm, 35° and the minimum can’t go down to refresh a house without air conditioning.

Warm nights during the year in Spain

In my village the warm nights aren’t usual, 1-2 is the normal in the last years. Warm nights in my village are when the clouds from the storms stay at night without rain, of course in very warm situation.

The Mediterranean breeze help to have lower maximum, but at night gets that is less colder that areas with less Mediterranean influence.

Castilla y Leon is the region with more contrast, could be very warm and dry, but when the sun comes down is cold. Even in areas close to the mountain could freeze in summer, microclimates of Spain with lot of mountain.

Summer is here

Tonight was cloudy, even yesterday was so humid that seems like rain.

The warm temperatures are quite difficult to avoid, even you go to Siberia is warm. Alert in Canada very north place is more than 20°.

Just patient and enjoy the fresh water, stay in the shadow, relax, move slowly and feel the breeze. Summer is time to be relaxed, if you want to go fast, you can feel nervous and then you feel warmer.

When I think in the paradise never will be a place with all the year of warm days, I’m sorry but I prefer 4 stations, and better a short summer.

Down the trees is one of the best options

I survive to the summer, and sometimes I enjoy a lot, specially in the water. I like run, in summer sometimes is hard, legs are heavy, the blood goes slowly, then you start to sweat and you feel better. Drink a lot of water, and the shower is the best recovery.

I like to stay in cold water, until I feel cold inside and I feel relaxed and very happy. Is a drug the cold water.

I hate air conditioning, I don’t want at home, in the car I use but not very strong.

I like natural cold, not artificial. I prefer a good shadow or wait for the breeze that normally blows in my village.

I’m in a natural Paradise and yesterday I forgot my blog.
I’m in the Pallars Jussà in the Pyrenees, where we call the Prepirineu. Here is a valley call conca, is surrounded by mountain, paradise for climbing. The sky at night is the best of Catalunya. Not very crowded area, air normally is dry because mediterranean sea is far away. Dry and clean is perfect, also without big cities looks that there are more stars.

We are lucky to find a new apartment in this area. We are the first customers of the apartment. Good location, nice views.

But we came here to see rivers, my village also is quiet.

I also run from the apartment, the mountains here are difficult to follow a track. Lucky of the Gps, because is complicated, more forest that I expected.

The way is clear in some points, but most in the forest.

Yesterday we visit Abella de la Conca, a place that I want to visit from a long time, only for the architecture in the rock. But I discover that isn’t only a paradise for climbing, also there is one of the best water routes.

6 months

This blog was born 6 months ago, everyday I write something.

Until now the number of visits is 28564. People from lot of countries read this blog, comment and look to the pictures.

Today I want to talk about my last adventure. Yesterday I went to a place that I want to visit lot of years ago. Nice place, but was very difficult to arrive, but now is open a new track.

The waterfall is clean, and now in a rainy year lot of water, even normally is water always, despite is a small Mediterranean river.

The main difference is the lake, was deep an enough big to jump, fish and enjoy in summer time. Now is dirty, and voluntary are cleaning after lot of years of explosion ant hard work in the top of the fall. Is a quarry, now in process to close. Now is the time to recover this natural place, that shouldn’t be destroyed.

This place was very popular for the village of Centelles, but this land is another village call Seva. Seva village is far away, they don’t care to destroy this amazing waterfall. Now is time to make popular again, people should love it to recover with the help of the company that destroyed.
There are metal pieces, tires, plastic. The lake is full of sand after years of work. Rivers normally regenerate alone, but here maybe needs some help.

I decided to do a circular way and come back for a difficult place. I can imagine how was this place in the past, less trees because I see the typical stairs of stones that use to plant in floors. I can climb the cliff following this stairs, the last following the way of the water.

I hope that people come back to this place and help to keep better that in the last years. The access is good, even you cross the highway, but is posible to cross without danger by a bridge for cars and people.

Rain

Yesterday I did trail running with rain, sometimes is nice to see the nature with the magic sound of the rain.

A long way of 17 kilometers

I went to Sant Miquel del Fai, now is closed because they are doing some work to improve. Now is a public place, with falls, a church, caves. I arrived running and see from the cliffs after the rain, was amazing, sun, rainbow, fog…

Cingles de Berti now is very green in this rainy 2020.

Pedraforca

Yesterday was a familiar day in a very special mountain. Pedraforca is a classic in Catalunya, one of the most popular. Despite isn’t the highest and is Prepyreness, the technical climbing and the image makes it very special, also crowded normally.

Now people of Barcelona can’t go there, is still a quiet place. We walk part of a route that is a 360° of the mountain.

All around is forest and mountains, but never forget the past than this region the minerals are the main work of this region. The forest are very good, because they work down, also some open miners that still you can see. All trains are now just for tourist, green tracks to enjoy this amazing area.

The storms are near, but we were lucky, we leave the area with fog. During the way coming home, rain was very heavy.

Great day in a place that always can discover places. Lot of paths to walk, some are very technical, but also you can do it easier. There are lot of possibilities in this area.

Normally the road have trafic jams, all the secundary valleys, have roads to the main one of the Llobregat river.

Break the rules

Every week is necessary study a degree in Spain to understand the laws about the exit from this strange situation. Now I can move in a medical region to buy or visit friends. You can meet in groups of 10, but you only can walk in your village. Where I live, the limits aren’t very easy. Yesterday I was tired to see full tables in the streets, then I decided to break again the rules. I park my car in Centelles, but I went to another villages running. The mountain hasn’t clear limits, the cows don’t talk about you are outside of your village. I don’t find anybody, just a car lost in the forest.

In July the tourism will come to Spain, something normal is a big part of the economy. But still now I can’t visit my parents, there is only 40 kilometers. I have to wait more time, but when we can see, everything will be open. Too slow coming back to the new normal life, but in the calendar the first of July is the start of the race to come back the power of the tourism.

I want to be patience, because this only the beginning of a new society that will support lot of change in the next years. Sometimes is better if you don’t know anything and just live your life, but this global situation is very difficult to get totally out of it.

In the shadow of the forest, everything looks more logical.

Walls that have seen lot of changes, if they can speak I will learn a big lesson

I prefer take a distance to see with a different view the problems. The walls aren’t high when you look far away, break the rules and see from outside.

The castle looks diferent from outside, built in the top of the rock to control everything and be safe.

Come back to the nature

After the look down of the cities, maybe lot of people want to leave it.

It’s a good opportunity to have a better of distribution of the population.

Until now people live in the city for the services. Now without shop, online shopping is getting more popular, without pubs, restaurants, theaters, cinemas… The parks closed, beach where is forbidden take a bath.

I’m living in a village 10 years ago. I leave the metropolitan are of Barcelona 12 years ago. 1 year without working in the city, only my parents are the connection with the city, for the rest I don’t need.

I love the mountain, my quality of life is walk, run in the forest.

My father lived in this house in Extremadura. Always talks with nostalgic of the birds there.
Now is just another field, with a destroyed house.

The grandfather of my father plant this trees 70 years ago. Eucalyptus was very popular in Spain, even isn’t the best tree.

My parents came to the city looking for a better life, now I think world is going to change. The only thing that you need is a good connection to internet. The services will come back with the people. Spain needs to conserve nice village, but they need people. The new countryside where isn’t necessary work the earth like a profesional.

The forest is increasing every year. The fields in the mountain are now forest, you can see walls in the middle of the forest to show how was the past.

We have better forest around the village than in the past. People work in different activities…
